About Us

We are not-for-profit organization focused on film and video production and distribution for and by First Nations people. So far we have produced two films:

- a drama called "Seeking Bimaadiziiwin" and;

- a documentary called "Sharing Tebwewin".

We are based in the heart of Anishinawbe territory on the North Shore of Lake Superior in the city of Thunder Bay, Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Our approach is inspired by the teachings of the medicine wheel taking into account the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical needs of people. We aim to provide skill development and employment opportunities for First Nations youth.

We have a volunteer board and advisory committees but we will endeavor to create employment opportunities for all participants in our projects whenever possible. All revenues from distribution and screenings will be invested in a travel and distribution and marketing fund to reach our objective of providing free copies of our work to First Nation communities and youth groups.

The Board:

Paul Mulzer as Co-chair (president)
Michelle Derosier – Co-chair (vice-president)
Kelly Saxberg – Treasurer
Robert Spade – Secretary/Member-at-large
Dave Clement – Secretary/Member-at-large
Sharon Mulzer - Secretary/Member-at-large
